The Gardening Show 2008 information

The NVS was formed on the 26th February 1960 with the aim of helping gardeners to improve the growing of vegetables. What can the NVS offer you?. Contact with people who can help you grow better vegetables. All members have the opportunity to join in any local District Associations activities. The opportunity to become a qualified lecturer or certified national vegetable judge.

The 2008 Llangollen Gardening Show was a tremendous success, the weather was brilliant over the two days as hundreds of visitors flocked to the festival. The show played host to many award winning horticultural displays & societies. Award winning chef Graham Tinsley presented a series of cooking demonstrations while Nigel Snow gave a series of talks with the Garden Knowhow Workshops.

Other attractions included a Fine Art & Sculpture exhibition, Show Gardens & Designs,Quality plant sellers, stylish gardening products & service suppliers, Simon O'Rourke International Chainsaw Sculpture, Llangollen & District Gardening Club to name a few.
